Garmin has released Instinct Solar, a new solar GPS smartwatch. With integrated solar charging, the smartwatch lets you enjoy unprecedented battery life.
Garmin Instinct Solar is a high-performance solar-powered GPS smartwatch that measures 45 x 45 x 15.3 and weighs 53 g, and it fits wrists with a circumference of 132-224mm. As shown in the images, the GPS watch delivers a rugged and tough design, and it’s water-rated to 100 meters and meets U.S. military standard 810 for thermal, shock and water resistance, so it’s perfect for any outdoor adventure.
Meanwhile, multiple optional colors ensure it blends well with different personal styles, and the adjustable silicone watchband provides a custom fit.
The GPS smartwatch comes equipped with multiple global navigation satellite systems including GPS, GLONASS and Galileo, and it has a built-in 3-axis compass and barometric altimeter, it’s capable of precisely your location, route, and altitude.
With dual-position format, the smartwatch syncs your location with others, and it always lets you know the way back by creating a waypoint to mark the location of your vehicle before you start your adventure. The jumpmaster mode also helps you calculate high-attitude release points according to military guidelines.
Moreover, the GPS smartwatch works as a fitness tracker to track your activities like running, biking, swimming and more. It also tracks your heart rate, stress and sleep. Built-n Pulse Ox sensor allows it to gauge how well your body is absorbing oxygen.
