Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition measures 6.9 x 4.9 x .32 inches and weighs 6.3 oz. As shown in the images, the new eReader delivers a same apperance design with previous Kindle Paperwhite, and it’s also IPX8 waterproof rated to protect against accidental immersion in up to two meters of fresh water for up to 60 minutes or up to 0.25 meters of seawater for up to 3 minutes.
Compared with previous model, the Signature Edition has increased the internal storage from 8GB to 32GB, and newly added sensors allow the eReader to automatically adjust the front light with 17 LEDs based on the ambient light, and you can also adjust the warm light by yourself.
Moreover, its 6.8-inch glare-free E-ink display delivers the same resolution of 300ppi as its predecessor. In addition to being charged via its USB-C port, the new model supports wireless charging. Its built-in rechargeable battery offers up to 10 weeks of battery life between charges.
