The SproutyPod measures 7 inches (178mm) diameter by 3.6 inches (92mm) and weighs 1.65 lbs (750g). With the compact, conic form factor, you can easily use it to grow your favorite sprouts indoors, and the conic design delivers an enlarged growth area to accommodate sprouts for several meals and remain proper air flow.
Furthermore, the sprout microfarm is made from food-safe materials including soda-lime glass, ABS, stainless steel and platinum cured silicone. An included reservoir tray is made from stainless steel and bamboo to make the draining process easy.
The SproutyPod supports over 50 seeds, beans, nuts, and legumes. All you need to do is select the sprouts you’re using via its companion app, add your seeds to the microfarm and pour water inside for soaking, then the app will direct you when to rinse and drain during the sprouting process. In just 3 days, you will get fresh sprouts. Moreover, the companion app also shows you healthy and delicious recipes based ion your preferences and sprouts you just grew.
The crowdfunding campaign for SproutyPod is ongoing on Kickstarter. We can pledge $49 to preorder the microfarm system. It will be shipped in February 2022.
