The FARO is an advanced and versatile smart bike helmet that is available in 3 sizes to fit for every rider. As shown in the images, the helmet delivers a minimal, streamline silhouette and the fabric liner brings some elegant details to the exterior. Meanwhile, with 4 optional colors, the urban helmet meets different personal preferences, and it’s IPX6 waterproof rated to fit for any weather.

Using hidden intakes, top and rear vents, the helmet provides maximum breathability, and a magnetic buckle allows for one-hand operation. The FARO is certified with international standards: CPSC, EN1078, AS/NZS 2063:2008, to protect your head from shocks during any accident, and an MIPS version features a low friction layer to absorb extra energy for enhanced protection. The smart helmet features front and rear LED lights to keep you staying highly visible at night or in low light conditions. And app-enabled design allows you to customize the lights with different static or dynamic patterns on your phone.

Furthermore, using built-in sensor, the helmet delivers automatic brake light, and an included remote can be mounted on the handlebar of your bike so that you can control the turn signal light of the helmet with ease. And built-in fall detection feature allows it to detect hard falls, and it will send an SOS message to a pre-determined emergency contact if you’re unresponsive on the falls.

Moreover, the smart helmet also tacks your distance, pace, vertical feet, CO2 prevention, and shows the metrics via its companion app, and all info about the helmet and your cycling can be display intuitively via the app. In addition, built-in 1,850mAh rechargeable battery offers up to 10 hours of battery life between charges.

The crowdfunding campaign for FARO is ongoing on Indiegogo. We can pledge $139 to preorder the smart helmet ($169 for MIPS version). Both models will be shipped in July 2021.
